It encourages a state of mind - similar to water - allowing reflection when it is still... and adaptation while in motion - to flow gracefully around obsticles we encounter.

"Impasto" (Italian for "paste") is my technique of using paint so thick that it rises off the canvas with textures so tempting people just have to touch it.
